    In short

    What home support can provide

Cancer care at home can provide supportive nursing, prescribed medicine assistance, observations and daily-living care alongside hospital treatment. It does not replace oncology or hospital care, and the assessment confirms which needs can safely be managed at home.

    Who this is for

    • People receiving cancer treatment
    • People needing symptom support
    • Families arranging daily-living care
    • People transitioning between hospital and home

    What is included

    1. 01

      Assessment and scope

Care is delivered at home only when the assessment, professional scope and home environment make it safe and appropriate.

    2. 02

      Records and escalation

Staff follow a documented escalation process, but emergencies must go directly to the emergency services.

    One-off, before care starts

    The home assessment

    ₦35,000

A care coordinator visits once, before any care begins, to understand the needs and the home and agree the care plan with you. It is separate from the price of the care itself.

    Step by step

    How this works

    1. 1The home assessment

An assessor reviews the person’s needs, home, routines and risks, then confirms the care plan, professionals and hours required.

    2. 2What can be delivered at home

Care is delivered at home only when the assessment, professional scope and home environment make it safe and appropriate.

    3. 3Escalation and the emergency boundary

Staff follow a documented escalation process, but emergencies must go directly to the emergency services.

    4. 4What is recorded during care

Managed care is recorded against the care plan and reviewed when needs, risks or circumstances change.
